**Q: Can you use it in a sp ig you are still playing gbc games**
A: This Gameboy Color Game Shark works on both Gameboy Advance and Gameboy Advance SP. And yes I still play GBC games on my SP.

**Q: can this backup save data?**
A: Hi no, that would be the Mega Memory Card (which we also sell, for Gameboy Color).
The games will save the progress (when you are using this item --the gameshark pro)

**Q: Doesn’t this work for gba games**
A: no

**Q: Does this work for Pokémon emerald**
A: No it doesn't. Pokemon Emerald is a Gameboy Advance game and this Game Shark only works for Gameboy Color games as well as normal Gameboy games. You need a Gameboy Advance Game Shark for Pokemon Emerald.

    Buyer Beware...product does not work at all

I was beyond excited to relive some childhood memories with this.  That is until I actually tried to use it.  Went to go use the pre loaded cheats all game sharks are supposed to come with only to see that there were almost none on this unit.  No problem I'll just google the cheats and enter them manually myself the old fashioned way...only to discover this game shark won't even boot the actual game boy game you're trying to play once you're finished.  I should have read more reviews before ordering from this seller as many others had the same exact issue.  Rest issued I will  be getting my money back.  Do your homework people let's stop supporting scammers like this seller and only buy from legitimate merchants.  Vote with your wallet!
