I have no idea how, but it’s basically clear but when you go into the sun, it becomes like an opaque pinkish white and it literally smooths out all the changes in your natural nail color (from nail bed to tip) to make it more uniform without adding an actual color. So your nails literally look longer and ready to be used has a hand model. No joke. Also, I’m bad at painting my nails (like literally paint all over my skin), but with this stuff, it blends seamlessly into your natural nail so you literally can’t tell if you mess up or miss a spot. It is easy to apply and makes the nails feel instantly stronger as it seems to put like a thick coating over them but it is hardly visible, it looks like naturally shiny, healthy nails. It dries really quickly and you can apply more coats if you want to; I tend to apply 2 coats right away and then another on after a few days. It says to remove it after a week and so I did that but there was no signs of wear on the nail enamel at all, no chips or peels :-O, so I think that you could get away with doing it less often. I haven't tried putting nail enamel over the top yet so I don't know if it will make my full manicure last longer but I'm hoping it will.
