As a swimming teacher I use pre-printed forms for every lesson and take notes on the side of the pool using a simple clip-board. By definition the poolside is wet - also I need the board to be close to the edge of the pool so I can lean over with my wet arms and write on it with a 6B pencil. Children walk over it (well they will, won't they) and drip all over it, sometimes it falls in the water. So what - it survives and I take home the record of their achievements.
