it is a great cd.

“Breakfast at Tiffany’s” is NOT the only good tune on here. It just doesn’t sound like any of the other songs. And frankly, at most you might only find two songs on Home that sound similar. That might have been what hurt this band. While no-one likes “same-y” sounding albums, most do like some amount of consistency. But the variety of style here is actually what makes this record fun. Each song is well-crafted with well-thought out, story-telling lyrics. Yeah, it’s dated with that very 90s alt-rock sound. Yet, that, too, is part of the charm. Check out “Halo” especially for one of those mind-bending, puzzling lyrics and deep, cinematic arrangements. One song after another, Home is a treasure chest of musical gems to discover.

Great album!! had to add to my collection, Brings back the good ole days. a must have for my collection!!!

The album matches the criticism - a lot of it is fluff, but not all - but I deviated from my usual policy and ordered it for one song. If you don't know which one, look up the video, which is very clever. I listen to a wide range of music, not much of it jangly pop-rock, but this band's one solid hit was magnificent.

Seriously...I never saw this coming, and I certainly don't know what to make of it, but I feel EXACTLY the same way about Home (especially Re. DBS) as Mobile Estates (especially Re. Citizen King). Compare and contrast: * The breakthrough hit that's really easy to identify because it's completely unlike everything else they ever did. * The general "life isn't the greatest, but we're making the most of it" mentality (a dependable alt-rock staple). * Lots of seemingly thrown together lyrics that kinda make more sense after repeated listenings. * A consistently vibrant but still fairly mellow beat; the tracks almost blend into each other. Add it all up and...well, if you're a fan of alt-rock, you'll like it. Plain and simple. (P.S. I was going to add You Can't Stop The Bum Rush, but even I think that's a little too much of a stretch. :-D)

I forst saw DBS at EdgeFest in 1995, Along with Adam Ant, Letters to Cleo, Veruca Salt, POL, and someother bands. I believe that the Toadies and Nixons were there, I may be getting them mixed with other bands. Anyways, They were clearly the best band on state that day. I also have seen in concert 3 other times and their performance can compete with any other concert that I have gone to. I can honestly say that I can listen to all of their albums without skipping over any songs. Being from Dallas and also working with Clay Bergus's Mother-In-Law, I may be Biased since they are from Denton. They are a great band and I will be one of the first in line if they ever do some type of Reunion concert P.S. There was a Special Release of "Home" that had extra songs. They did a version of "Dear Prudence" by the Beatles. The other one I cannot remember, but it was a great song

Et il n'y a pas que le génialisime "brakfest at tiffany's" qui vaut le détour, un album a découvrir ! D'ailleurs les autres albums valent aussi une petite écoute !

Yet another one of those "one-hit wonder" chart toppers from the NOW franchise. Was curious to hear the rest of their material and it sounds great!! :)

This CD is much better than the one hit, "Breakfast At Tiffany's". Thoroughly enjoyed it and will be purchasing other CDs by the group! After my first attempt at buying this from another source, in which I never received it, I bought it through MEDIA SUPPLIES OUTLET, with no problems! In fact it came earlier than expected and with no damage to to jewel case (which doesn't happen much these days)

Wer erinnert sich noch an "Breakfast at Tiffany’s"? Diejenigen, die diesen Song kennen und lieben, werden diese CD auch lieben, so viel steht fest! Was "Deep Blue Something" hier abgeliefert haben, ist einfach wunderschön!! Die anderen Lieder sind echt stark, vor allem "Halo", "A Water Prayer", "A Song To Make Love To" und "Home". Ehrlich gesagt ist das ganze Album einfach nur zeitlos schöne Musik! Deswegen ist es eine absolute Kaufempfehlung!!!

Good album with the big breakfast at tiffanys included but some others that I didn't even know I knew on there too.
