I have them in my living room north facing bay window... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does what it says, but only in the strictest sense *by D***L on June 4, 2021* 6/28/21 UPDATE - So I was getting very frustrated with the lack of any type of performance from the windmill. The "blade" mechanism has a small metal bearing that helps keep everything spinning and in place. A little WD-40 on that bearing, and this bad boy SPINS! Even in indirect sun through a tinted window, I'm getting roughly 1 RPS, and in direct sunlight sometimes I worry it'll fly off of my desk! Knowing what I know now, I would buy again. OLD REVIEW - It's incredibly cheap, and there's not much at all to put together so it's easy to assemble. And yes, it spins when receiving solar energy, but it really only works well outside. Any type of indoor tinted window severely hinders its performance to the point of barely twitching. And after only 1 day there's a very noticeable squeak. I'm sure a little WD-40 can fix it, but it's annoying to have to use that so early. And it stores no energy, there's no battery, so you can't turn it off to "charge" it. It's on and sunny or nothing.
