Review: My son stopped crying in the car - ONLY DOWNSIDE about this is the color, was expecting more of a beige and this is straight up grey which I’m not a fan but not a huge deal. I heard parents saying that as soon as they switched to a big kid seat, their babies stopped having tantrum on car rides and I have tried everything else and it didn’t work so I thought I would try. I researched so much before choosing this seat. I even ordered the chicco clear Tex and cancelled the order because it didn’t feel right in my gut. This seat had very good reviews and was rated best for safety as well as had a very good price considering what else is out there. Having had the doona before, this feels much more comfortable. The straps are very easy to loosen and tighten. It is very easy to recline if needed. The leg extension is a plus, it gives my son so much more leg room and he loves it. It is overall very good quality for the price. All this to say that I am now able to go anywhere with him with ease and peace of mind. It didnt take any time for him to get adjusted to it, the first time we went for a ride he was cool as a cucumber. He even falls asleep in it which is amazing for him since he never used to do that in the doona once he got a bit older. It is very lightweight and as you can see it fits pretty good in my 2015 Camry with me being able to comfortably sit in the front (I am 5’6”). I don’t mean that it has a ton of leg room, but I’m not cramped either and it is reclined as recommended for babies before 6 months I believe! It is also very easy to install correctly.
