Each jar contains 2 cups of Chalk-Tique powder additive, enough to mix with 2 quarts of any paint to make chalk-style paint. Use the included 1/4 cup scoop to mix just what you need. You can use Chalk-Tique powder additive and turn your ordinary leftover paint into chalk-style paint that’s easy to use and can adhere to almost any surface. Review: Forgiving and easy to work with. - I ordered this to wax a baby changing table I had done a repurpose on for our nursery in green chalk paint. I love how deep and rich the color is. It is extremely soft and dries pretty quickly, so be mindful of that. I’ve worked with other waxes over chalk paint before and this dries and cures MUCH faster than anything else I’ve worked with. I applied it for this project using a chalk paint/wax round brush and we waited a bit for it to debut before adding more and removing in a circular motion. If you mess up and need to remove, adding more will soften the existing wax enough to get any excess off the project. It is not incredibly dark like some waxes and it’s pretty forgiving. I do like that the quick dry time equals a relatively quick cure time as well! Pictures included for reference.
