It is necessary to be certain you push in the very center of the button to retract the teeth evenly. If your pressure is to one side, the teeth do not completely retract on the other side.Otherwise, I do like this brush and actually intend to order a second one - reason? One of our cats has a dander problem, and I am not sure I should use the same brush on both cats.
