That's actually more than the "Essential Jacksons" or any other compilation has. I did a lot of research and from what I found there's no compilation of the CBS recordings with more tracks than this one. All 7 albums by "The Jacksons" are represented. My favorite is 'Torture.' The first disc has 10 "Jackson 5" songs representing 7 albums as well as 6 Michael Jacksons solo tracks representing 4 albums. Please beware when importing into iTunes, the default has "Ain't No Sunshine" as by "Jackson 5." This is incorrect, it's actually Michael Jackson solo so be sure to modify that. Excellent compilation! Review: The BEST Jackson 5 / Jacksons Collection - 'The Very Best Of The Jacksons' (2004) is the BEST 'sampler' anthology (featuring 32 Tracks) for fans of the Jackson 5 / Jacksons. I was impressed with the fact that BOTH Universal & Sony allowed many of the hits from the Brother's Motown (Disc 1) & Epic (Disc 2) eras to be featured in this 2 CD set. Since this set was so affordable (less than $5!), I'm willing to look past the few glaring omissions and failure to present songs in chronological order. It would've bee nice to have a few rarities here, but I appreciate the nice booklet which features photos, track info and a nice essay by Geoff Brown. 'The Very Best Of The Jacksons' design & color scheme mirror Michael Jackson's 'Number Ones' CD, and make it a great companion set for those who purchased that CD the previous year (2003).
