If I'd have cleaned it more often, I'd still be using it. I rusted through the heat diffuser plate, which is not replaceable. As this is a frequently used part of my smoker, I found this replacement was a good price, and a good option. I wish more parts were replaceable on it, but that's a Camp Chef design issue, and it's ok. I'm happy with the replacement and saved the cooking grates so I can switch those out as needed.
