What can I use to renew it?** A: What grit of sandpaper did you use? Using the Micro-Mesh kit, I had found that the 3500 grit and higher restored the gloss finish while the lower grits worked well to remove the deep scratches. **Q: i have a deep crack in my kitchen corian counter what can i use to fill and then finish** A: we have an off-white corian counter...none of the colors matched and there were no instructions for how to use it. I had to throw it away!! **Q: I have 6 long cracks in my Gilbraltor SSV countertop. Will this work on those cracks?Does it fill them?The SSV is pretty thin,with wood underneath.** A: This kit basically just contains different grades of sandpaper. It does a pretty good job of buffing out small scratches with a bit of elbow grease but it won't fill in cracks. **Q: Can someone who used this successfully tell me how long it took to use this? Our countertop is large has many small scratches and is just dull.** A: I found it very easy, I had two long deep enough for my fingernail about 6 inch long scratches. Took about 15 minutes starting with 600 and working my way up, most of that time was spent with the polishing squares. Needed a little more shine so applied gel gloss polish, that takes about 10 minutes to dry, then I buffed it, and it looks like new.
