After catching up with current pc tech I chose this combination for my 1440p gaming rig. Went with AMD after seeing the price of Nvidia GPU's. This plays my games at ultra settings. Critics say ray tracing is not as good but oh well. It takes 2- 8 pin power connectors. Can customize performance settings with Radeon app. Lots of good info online about how to tweak for better performance. This is a pretty big card so make sure you can fit it in your case. It has no argb or fancy lighting which is fine with me.
