The Steiners are excellent and in their own niche. You will not be disappointed and the great thing with Amazon is you may return it if anything less than totally satisfied. I have had mine for 3 years from Amazon and it's heirloom if cared for properly. It has the inbuilt compass and light. The compass has very little compass error when I last compared it to ship's gyro compass.
