However, I've used the Dimebucker quite a bit. It is an inherently bright pickup (think "cemetery gates", you don't get those harmonics in the mud). I suppose you can mud it up by rolling off the tone knob some, even then I'm not sure how much mud that would produce. I went the opposite direction; I wanted my neck pickups to have more clarity so I started putting bridge pickups in the neck position. It might be possible to achieve the sound you're looking for by installing a neck position pickup in the bridge? Hope this helps. **Q: Would this be a benefit on a Tele?** A: Interesting question as I just recently bought a Tele that has a humbucker in it. The honest answer, though, lies within your ears alone. I think the Dimebucker is a great soloing pickup as the frequency response (think some low end with more high end and low mids) cuts through pretty well. It's not a bad rhythm players pickup either. I guess it's all about what you want to achieve sound-wise. **Q: I have a rudementary question, I have a (please don't laugh) a Keith Urban light the fuse guitar my girlie got me, will this work as sub?** A: So essentially you're dealing with a "Les Paul" style guitar. The DimeBucker is designed to fit guitars that have a traditional "F spacing" which is slightly wider that a traditional LP. That being said, I have mounted these in my own LP type guitars. It takes a bit of wrangling to get it in there though. It comes down to how much room is in that pickup route. I have no experience with Keith Urban guitars so I cannot give you a definitive answer. I am however 99% sure this pickup will not mount to your existing pickup mounting rings without some modification. I suggest you look on the Seymour Duncan website for the dimensions of the pickup and compare it to the size of your route cavity. **Q: I just got a jackson monarkh sc js22, would you guys recommend these for that? I play alot of rhythm with some solo's...big Pantera fan-sound** A: IMO it's a slightly better pickup for soloing but you can use it for rhythm as well. It appears to have a better response in the mid to high area rather than the bottom end when compared to other pickups I have in my guitars, namely the DP100 Super Distortion and DP156 HFH that Dimarzio makes.
