## Overview

The Fiskars 91696935J Power-Lever Hedge Shear features extendable 25-33 inch handles and 10-inch hardened steel serrated blades with patented self-sharpening technology. Its compound lever system doubles cutting power, while shock-absorbing bumpers and rust-resistant coating ensure comfort and durability for professional-quality hedge trimming.

## Description

Fiskars Power-Lever Hedge Shears feature compound lever technology that multiplies your leverage to give you up to two times more cutting power than traditional single-pivot shears. To make high, hard-to-reach or awkward cuts easy, these shears also include handles that extend and lock securely. Fully hardened, precision-ground steel blades feature a serrated edge to grip while cutting, and a patented self-sharpening design ensures that every cut is clean and crisp. A rust-resistant, low-friction coating makes every cut even easier, shock-absorbing bumpers absorb jarring vibrations, and durable steel handles with non-slip grips offer control.

Review: Not what I expected from Fiskars - Blades are all rusty and bent after 2 months of casual use. Feels cheap, not heavy duty.
Review: Well worth the money. - I bought these sheers, and they're a fair bit larger than the cheaper pair I bought. Be warned this set is a bit heavier than you might expect, but there's a reason for that. The weight gives you a bit more cutting power - I was able to cut fairly thick bush limbs with little effort. Also, you can extend the grips of the sheers too which will let you reach farther (higher). The extension system uses a "locks" or little orange tabs. You pull the tab up to open the lock, slide the handle back and forth, then push the tab back down to lock the length - it's pretty straight forward. I was able to take a behemoth of a bush that was growing on a cut tree stump down to the stump pretty easily. The blades are pretty sharp and serrated so you can saw with them a bit and grip branches/bush limbs. I recommend these sheers, but you will need to have some strength to use them.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Strong and Reliable

I have had shears before, however I got this item for the option to extend the handles for tall trees. I enjoy that function as I do not not need another step-ladder to complete cutting tasks
