Der Hungarian Horntail ist ein Drache aus den Harry Potter Romanen, welcher in Deutsch ungarischer Hornsch(wanz) heisst. Er stammt aus Ungarn (Hungary) und ist der gefährlichste Drache überhaupt. Der Hungarian Horntail ist die Magical Creatures Sammelfigur Nr. 04 aus der Harry Potter Reihe. Insgesamt gibt es 18 Harry Potter Kreaturen zum Sammeln, alle befinden sich in gleich grossen Acrylglas Vitrinen. Die Vitrine ist ca. 10.5cm in der Länge und Breite und ca. 18.5cm in der Höhe. Verpackt ist das ganze in einer dekorativen Kunststoffhülle, die teilweise bedruckt ist. Die Verpackung ist so liebevoll gestaltet, dass man es als Sammler direkt so in die Vitrine oder in ein Regal stellen kann. Öffnet man die Hülle, so kann man die Vitrine herausnehmen. Achtung beim Auspacken: Der Vitrinen Deckel ist nicht mit dem Boden verklebt! Das ist mit Absicht so gemacht, damit man das Acrylglas wie eine Haube abnehmen kann. Dann bleiben die Figur und die Sockelplatte übrig. Entfernt man die Sockelplatte, bleibt nur die Figur übrig. Die Vitrine ist ganz im Harry Potter Stil gehalten und besitzt unten einen Sockel und oben eine Abdeckung aus braunem Kunststoff, welcher aussieht wie geschnitztes profiliertes Holz. Das sieht nicht nur edel aus, sondern schützt auch die Acrylglas Kanten und sorgt für mehr Stabilität. An die Rückwand der Vitrine ist von innen eine Hintergrundkulisse angebracht. Vorne auf der Vitrine ist in weiß der Name Hungarian Horntail aufgedruckt. Auf der Unterseite des braunen Sockels ist in gold das Harry Potter Logo gedruckt. Die Hungarian Horntail Figur besteht aus PBS Kunststoff und ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail handbemalt. Kein Drache gleicht also 1000% einem anderen. Das Aussehen des Hungarian bezieht sich auf die Harry Potter Filme, in denen der Drache etwas anders aussieht als in den Büchern beschrieben. Der Drache hat einen dunkelbraunen Kopf und dunkelbraune Rückenschuppen und Flügel. Sein Bauch, die Flügelhäute und die Innenseite der Beine sind bronzefarben. Die Hörner auf dem Kopf sowie die zahlreichen Stacheln auf seinem Rücken und Sch(wanz) sind ebenfalls bronze. Er hat gelbe katzenartige Augen mit vertikalen Schlitzpupillen. Der Drache ist hier in einer fliegenden bzw. landenden Pose gestaltet, mit offenem Maul und weit ausgebreiteten Flügeln. Neben dem Hungarian Horntail befindet sich ein Steinnest mit einem goldenen Drachenei. In Band 4 der Harry Potter Reihe findet ein internationales Kampfturnier namens trimagisches Turnier statt. Hierfür treten Schüler der drei besten Zauberschulen aus Europa gegeneinander an. Am Turnier nehmen 3 Schüler teil (darunter Harry) und das Turnier besteht aus drei Prüfungen bzw. Kämpfen. Harry muss in der ersten Runde gegen den Ungarischen Hornsch(wanz) kämpfen und das goldene Ei aus seinem Nest stehlen. Die Bodenplatte des Drachen ist der felsigen Landschaft in der Arena nachempfunden, wo das goldene Ei während des Turniers versteckt ist. Die Hintergrundkulisse zeigt einen Teil von Schloss Hogwarts, denn die Arena, welche extra für das Turnier gebaut wurde, befindet sich auf dem Hogwarts Gelände. Den Hungarian Horntail kann man von der Sockelplatte entfernen, er schwebt dann auf einem flachen Stück Felsen (siehe Produktfotos). Man kann diese Sammlerfigur auf vier Arten aufstellen: - Mit Vitrine und bedruckter Kunststoffhülle - Mit Vitrine (die man aus der Kunststoffhülle herausnimmt) - Ohne Vitrine, nur der Hungarian Horntail auf der Sockelplatte (die Vitrinen Haube wird in der Kunststoffhülle versorgt) - Nur der Hungarian Horntail (die komplette Vitrine wird in der Kunststoffhülle versorgt) Wer sich entschließt, die Sammlerfigur auszupacken, muss noch mehrere Drahtbindungen lösen und Plastikblister entfernen. Der Hungarian Horntail ist nämlich so gut verpackt, damit es beim Versand auf keinen Fall zu Beschädigungen kommt. Egal, ob als Sammlerstück in einer Vitrine oder im Regal, als Bücherstütze oder als Geschenk: Mit dieser Figur kann man bei Harry Potter Fans eigentlich nichts falsch machen.
