Is this nylon fabric or hard plastic? Does it also come with a teklok?** A: It's nylon fabric with a plastic sheath inside to protect the nylon. **Q: What steel is it .** A: Listed as 1095 carbon steel **Q: Is this a full tang knife?** A: Yea it is. **Q: Why is it saying this-blade material: 1095 carbon steel when it is not true?** A: I don't know exactly how to answer your question. I checked other places (bladehq, ebay, etc.) and get mixed answers. Most say 1095 and some say 1075. Not sure which is correct. Either way, I really like mine and don't think there is a huge difference either way. I do recommend this knife. Hope this helps in some small way. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ontario Knife Company 8665 Rat-3 Plain Edge with Black Nylon Sheath, Black/Tan, One Size - Ontario Knife Company 8667 Rat-5, Plain Edge with Black Nylon Sheath, One Size - Ontario Knife Co. 8668 Rat-7 Fixed Blade Knife 7" Drop Point 1095 Black Carbon Steel Blade 5" Tan Micarta Handle for Outdoor, Tactical, Survival, Bushcraft, and EDC --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/255828512-ontario-knife-company-8665-rat-3-plain-edge-with-black](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/255828512-ontario-knife-company-8665-rat-3-plain-edge-with-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
