Will be buying this again on future projects ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Steady and looks great! *by J***. on July 10, 2019* Good manufactured piece, it looks gorgeous! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value but a couple small issues *by S***D on January 26, 2016* I'm a professional bathroom contractor and I've installed this drain for a customer. The one issue with this drain is the plastic drain insert which is inserted into the top of the drain flange. The first time my customer used the shower I got a callback from them advising me the drain was backing up and causing water to to fill the shower floor. Upon inspection I found that the plastic drain insert which seems to be designed to catch hair etc., got clogged the first time used. Other than having very small drain holes it is activated by a spring loaded drain stop. Seems this spring loaded drain stop does not open properly or not at all causing the drain to remain shut. My guess is the spring is simply too strong to depress the drain stop. Solution was to remove this drain stop which opens the drain fully. I see no reason to really have this drain stop. The metal drain assembly itself seems fine, however one of the plastic spacers which are under the tile insert broke during installation. This was repaired and all works fine. I'm giving 4 stars for the overall drain flange as it is at a lower price point than many others.
