## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the difference between Gentle Lather and Hair Cleansing Cream?**
A: Gentle Lather Shampoo is best for fine and/or easily weighed down hair that requires less moisturizing. It has low lather, which prevents the hair from being stripped of natural oils.

**Q: Will Gentle Lather remove silicones from my hair?**
A: No, Gentle Lather uses gentle cleansing agents which are not strong enough to remove silicones from hair. Our Clarifying Shampoo is strong enough to remove water soluble silicones.

**Q: My shampoo/conditioner are slightly different in color compared to my last bottle, is this normal?**
A: Yes, it is completely normal and safe for use. Our batches can tend to have a slight variance in color due to the use of natural ingredients.

**Q: I'm not getting a lot of lather or bubbles during a wash, is that normal?**
A: Yes, our cleansers are low-lather formulated, but rest assured they are working! If you desire more lather, try adding more finger scrubbing motion or you can double cleanse. Tip: the more lather you get, the cleaner your hair was to begin with.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for Curls
*by on Reviewed in the United States 11 April 2025*

I've tried a lot of unscented shampoos, and this is the best one I've found for my 2c/3a curls. Highly recommend Confident Coils too (paired with a good mousse).

### ⭐⭐⭐ The item came damaged. The shampoo leaked out of the botyle.
*by on Reviewed in the United States 6 July 2022*

I wasn't able to use this product because it leaked in the shipping box.

### ⭐⭐ Greasy
*by on Reviewed in the United States 5 September 2023*

I loved this conditioner, so I hoped I would love the shampoo as much, but it leaves my hair greasy and it looks like I haven't even washed it, especially at the roots.
