Review: Excellent product - The shipping was fast and the fan is perfect. We have used i on 3 camping trips so far and found it to be amazingly effective to move air out of our 5th wheel. This is the second trailer we have installed one in and we are still very happy. The noise level of the fan is very low; lower than our previous fan.
Review: Moves a lot of air, and if installed centrally, will clear out cooking smells instantly - We use our 30' camping trailer for our grown family to stay in while on our mobile jobs of machinery assembly at various dealers. Many times we can not get adequate electric service to run the AC, and have to rely on ventilation on hot summer nights to cool camper. We trade the camper every 2-3 years due to the mileage we pull it behind a heavy service truck, and have installed two of these so far. It will keep the trailer aired out from cooking smells by opening a window on each end of camper. We use the AC if at all possible, but this fan will keep the camper tolerable on sweltering nights. Also if some one is feeling under the weather with a cold, etc, we reverse the fan to draw air in and open the window closest to them. This has helped prevent spreading to the rest of us a number of times. It is as easy to install as a standard vent if there is 12V electric near the vent, otherwise you will need to snake a wire from a nearby light or fan.

**Q: Can this unit be used while it is raining or does a separate cover need to be installed?**
A: Yes, it can be used while it is raining. No you do not need a separate cover. Easy to install. Great product. Get two tubes of Dicor self leveling sealant, and a role of butyl tape for a proper install.

**Q: Is this the entire fan or just the fan lid?  the description says fan lid, not fan.  thanks.**
A: If you look at the more information you will realise exactly what you are buying.the lid is smoked and not white. You should buy one because they are great I have two one of the best bits of kit I have ever bought.👍👍👍. Very easy to fit make sure that you get the remote model..

**Q: Do these units come with the newer controller?**
A: What do you mean by "newer controller"?  The one it comes with looks like the one in this picture.  Only bad thing about it is there is no back light on the screen so cant see anything in the dark.

**Q: Why is this fan $409 when other Maxx Air 7500's I see here are $649?**
A: Prices vary wildly! Check Camping World and Google MAXXAIR deluxe.

Amazon is not the best price.
