**Q: The bag I ordered smells rancid like rotten eggs, is this normal or did the bag get spoiled in the heat during transit?**
A: No, a rotten egg odor is not normal for this bird seed.  Please do not feed it to your birds.  I would return it.  I will say that my last bag of this product had a small slit in the bag.  It smelled fresh however.

A: The bag I received did not smell rancid.

A: I feed my parakeets every day with this food but also I give them a lettuce(Roman ) and they seem to love it and tend to buy a different kind of bird food so they can have a variety of food . I think is good for them

**Q: Why is this so overpriced compared to chewy?**
A: Well it’s a rip off now here on Amazon- I just bought this 5 lb bag in June (5 mos ago), for $8.99. Now in November they want $15.95. Greedy.
