These are commercial grade bases, bottom “X” base is heavy cast iron. 3” riser tube is steel as is the flat surface to screw your table top to the base . Screws are included. This ships in 2 boxes. THIS TABLE BASE IS BEAUTIFUL AND PAINTED WELL. THIS SMALL BASE CAN HOLD A TABLE 42" DIAMETER, YES IT CAN. IT IS HOLDING MY TABLE 42" WITH NO PROBLEMS. HOWEVER, THE MAX IT HOLD IS A 42" TABLE. NO SCREWS WERE INCLUDED. WE LOVE IT!
