I got the cheapest pen mouse, because I wasn't sure I would like it.As it turns out, this thing is actually ok. I'm not sure that it's any better for this kind of drawing than an ergonomic mouse, but it's certainly quite usable for that purpose. (It would be significantly better than a regular mouse if you are trying to sign something, or do a hand drawing, but that's not exactly what I'm doing.) You do have to hold the mouse at a consistent angle--it's not as forgiving as a pen. It's also harder to hold it steady than it is with a regular mouse, though, especially when you're pressing buttons. (Probably this is because it is so light and has no friction.) Double-clicking is possible but surprisingly difficult because pressing the button makes it very easy to jiggle the mouse. (You can change the DPI setting with a click of the button that's further up, and that also helps a bit, because your small motions move the mouse less.)This particular variant of pen mouse is symmetric, so it would work just as well for lefties. (I don't believe that's true for all pen mice.) The "right" mouse button on a normal mouse is the button in the center near the bottom, and the "right" mouse button on a normal mouse corresponds to the two buttons on either side (the two side buttons both do exactly the same thing; I don't think you can configure it differently in software). As with most mice, the roller is also a button.Despite the resemblance to a pen, it takes a bit of getting used to. To draw you have to hold down the button in the center, which is not quite the usual pencil grip, at least not for me; that feel quite different from lowering your pen to draw, and lifting up from the paper to stop drawing. Nevertheless, it's certainly easier than trying to draw with a regular mouse, and *far* easier than trying to draw with a touchpad.This pen mouse comes with a little plastic holder which stands the mouse upright (well, at an angle). Initially I assumed was just to hold the mouse while you're not using it. But I noticed after a while that the holder is designed so that the mouse can be used while in it. There's a hole at the bottom of the holder, where the LED can shine out, and the mouse is held at just the right level and angle for it to work most effectively. Indeed, it's easier to use the mouse while it's in the holder, rather than as a pen outside of the holder, because you don't have to worry about the angle, and there's a little bit more friction so it doesn't jiggle as much. Even with this, though, it's still touchy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars I didn't buy this for drawing, bought for wrist/arm pain! *by M***T on Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2023* This is a great option now in my rotation of mice for loooooong video editing stints! I've been using it for about 4 hours now and haven't had any pain (had pain within an hour just yesterday with my other mice). It's important to switch up the position and ergonomics of my mice, and so far, I'm really impressed with this option! Being a stylus, you don't have to use gravity to keep it in your hand, so it's versatile and easy to reposition in many different ways, even vertically! I have been using a logitech lift mouse as well as a traditional mouse, and that has been great/will stay in rotation, but so far, this seems like the best for the pain I get. I hope that it lasts! My only dislike is (and there may be a way to turn it off, tbd) all the garish lights lol - my tired strained eyes aren't a fan of any unnecessary lights but hey - it's definitely worth that small peeve - and can be blacked out if need be, hopefully I just figure out how to turn them off (would save a lil battery). I'll update if the mouse dies and also if I figure out lights!
