It is from S. Korea. When new it looks pretty feeble (for example the locking system seemed to loose), but once I started to use it, got a little bit of tree sap and saw dust and it improved!! So far I have been able to cut with no problem 3´to 4´branches. **Q: For those that have the this saw, when you received it was the saw teeth burnt black? And if it was did it become dull fast while useing it?** A: No - my saw teeth were in good condition when I got it and it has not dulled since being used. I used occasionally not heavy use. My complaint is that the saw does not stay folded (i.e. the fold lock does not seem to work). This is annoying since the saw constantly opens in my pocket while I am working in yard. It is a good saw otherwise. I would like to send back because of the fold opening issue but I tend to not return products. **Q: It'll be 2 years come March that i bought this saw and i use it today and it can barely cut a 2 inch branch. Can i get a replacement blade ?** A: yes - but actually for an extra dollar or two you can purchase a whole new saw. For the replacement blasé check the Felco website. **Q: I don't see a replacement blade for this saw. Is there any such thing?** A: Yes, there is. My gardener snapped the blade on my brand new Felco saw by twisting it while removing an ancient oleander and it's roots. I got the spare blade from Felco, got it inserted and was able to close it once. Now I can't get it to fold no matter what I do. Looking for a scabbard but so far no luck. Probably should have just bought an entire new saw, but that seemed wasteful. Really sharp and great for getting in awkward places. I have recently renovated a forty year old beech hedge, which was very congested and getting too tall. Most of the work was done with this little saw. I liked it so much that I bought two more as presents. I think you can also get spare blades so it will last you for a long time.
