Colour: Walnut Wooden dial, wooden hands, wooden bird, and night shut off 2 years product warranty The cuckoo calls every half hour once and the number of the hours every full hour. This cuckoo clock has an exclusive life-like wooden handpainted cuckoo. With certificate of authenticity from the Black Forest Clock Association (VdS). It has a mechanical extreme long-life rack strike movement. It allows turning the hands left and right without endangering the mechanics of the movement. The 8 day running time movement need to be wind up once a week, that means you pull on the chains until the weights are up. The size refers only to the clock, without pendulum and weights.

**Q: Where is it made? Thanks.**
A: It's a genuine, German Made cuckoo clock, with the basics. It's not a $1k clock, but if you want a real basic cuckoo clock, it will do. Mine came witha small wood piece coming off. A little elmer's glue fixed it.

A: no. This clock does not play music. It just makes the coo coo sound.

**Q: What kind of physical movement happens on the clock when it cuckoos?  Do the windows open, etc?**
A: It opens the window and the cuckoo calls once every half hour.At the full hour he calls depending on the time.

**Q: Does this clock have volume control and silent mode?**
A: No, es the clock is a mechanical clock and the cuckoo call and music are made mechanicaly there is no volume control. You con only place the clock away from you. But the clock has a night shut off, so you can completely turn off the cuckoo call and the music.
