## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do you set the time and the alarm?  It had no instructions!**
A: There's a button on the bottom that says "SET".  Hold that down while pressing the big + or - on the back of the clock to set the time.  When the alarm display on the top pops up, there are + and - signs on the back of that to set the alarm.   My wife loves hers, but warns me not to touch the back of the clock when the alarm display is up (in other words, set).   When the alarm display is in the down position it is off.  When it is up, it is on.

**Q: Does the clock stay lit up at night so you can read the numbers in the dark?**
A: Not constantly, but a very light tap on the top causes the time to light for about 5 seconds.

**Q: How long will the clock before batteries need to be changed?**
A: I believe I've had mine well over a year and have not needed to change batteries yet.

**Q: How do you know if the battery is low so you don't miss an alarm if it goes dead?**
A: I have no idea. The clock is so opaque in its operations that I can't advise buying it.

Excellent clock IF you put it eye level. If you use it on your nightstand and you look at it from your bed, it will be great. But I bought it for my bathroom and I find that I have to tilt it 45 degrees for me to tell the time. Even so, it's an excellent clock. Easy to setup. Great to look at. I might buy a 2nd one for my guest bathroom. If they make one with a tilt stand, that would be even better.

The product has a great design but is poorly manufactured. The alarm mechanism did not work properly and would continually beep after pushing it down. I was only able to use the alarm clock for one night. Still using my phone for an alarm and am looking for an alternative.
