This one was a small one and with big hands like mine it was hard to do a lot of the little items. I had to use tweezers to hold in place while the glue dried. It was challenging for me but having a child of 8-10 it may be too much for them. I would go with a bigger one where the pieces are easer to handle with fingers. Remember the higher the number on the plane the smaller the actual size of the model will be.
