This was more expensive than those but, it works like the real thing. The replacement from Norelco is more expensive if they still have it. This unit checked all the boxes: the unit moves around like the original retaining the "Floating Head" effect. It sounds like the original, quiet. The others I tried were annoyingly loud and with a high-pitched whine and were sent back. As for longevity, it appears to be of similar quality to the original and I would expect it to last as long as the shaver. Review: Perfect Fit As I Would Expect from OEM Replacement Part - This is the OEM version of the replacement head and works exactly as expected. I have been using this replacement head everyday for over 7 months without a single issue. I suspect issues reported by others may not have been with the OE heads. Also, I chose to replace the razor blade heads, as well, just in case the razor blades caused the head to fail. This replaced the original head which lasted over 4 years before it started making squealing noises and shaving performance dropped significantly. The one that came with my razor lasted less than a year when it started falling off the shaver.** A: Mine has lasted about 2 years so far, but is doing fine currently working like it did from the beginning. **Q: I have replaced this part a couple times. There are some plastic parts that are molded in to support the blades and clipper screen for each of the three blades. Mine is water resistant so I may shave both wet or dry. All in all, an exceptional shaver.
