Review: Even a 70 plus year old lady can use this with no issues - This product is the best and very easy to use. I have a very large/expensive ceramic outdoor planter pot (18 inches in diameter and 20 inches tall) that has a crack down the side. I was made aware that wiring the top with galvanized wire would keep it together. When I found this product on desertcart, it appeared that this would be better than wire. I ordered the 8 foot package. It was very easy to setup the screw end, determine the length required for the pot, and install/tighten. The great news is that the crack also tightened in the process. Saved a very expensive pot. I read the reviews and looked at the videos. I don't understand the one star reviews. The only thing that I can interpret is that these guys setup the screw end backward which in turn forced the device to bend when tightening thus damaging it. There was a video from a purchaser which indicated that the screw device was defective because there was no way to pass the wire though the sodder area thus the device was garbage. This area of the screw section is intentionally sealed and the wire goes around it. It's a pity that the purchaser didn't know this because this is a great product. If I can install this, so can you. Don't hesitate to purchase.

**Q: Why do the worm gears push up from whatever I have them wrapped around when I tighten them?**
A: You need to put the cut end through the clamp again at the other end of worm gear so it follows the same 
direction and curve of the clamp.

A: Don't know for sure but my clamp is holding up close to 30 lbs

**Q: band width?**
A: 1/2" is the width of the band.   I am very happy with them.   I needed some large ones so I made what I needed with what this "kit" has in it and have a bunch left!  John
