I tried them at my last two lessons and they did exactly that! They do need to be broken in, but that's expected for anything that's leather. I have small hands - the small size fits perfectly. Update 7/13 - after many many classes, one of them ripped clean off the wrist band. Unfortunate, but I still bought another pair.
