Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great desk and very quick to assemble - The HOMIDEC Computer Desk is a great choice for a home office or study space. The size is perfect for smaller rooms, yet it still provides enough space for a laptop, monitor, and essentials. The build quality is solid for the price, with a sturdy metal frame and a practical design. The additional shelves are very useful for keeping things organized without taking up extra space. Assembly was fast and straightforward — the instructions are clear, and all parts are well-labeled, making the process very easy (desertcart). Review: Great easy to assemble desk ideal for home office - Excellent piece of furniture, it's relatively straightforward to assemble, includes the Alan Key and Mini spanner tools and also silicone corner protectors to prevent injury. It's metal frame is box steel and very well braced and strong. The tops are some kind of particle board but very well made, not cheap paper but a very convincing wood effect plastic coating. The two side shelves are also strong and useful one is a perforated metal to allow light to the lower shelf. For the price paid £36 it's genuinely good value for money and I was able to assemble it without assistance in around an hour. The video in the listing is handy as although it comes with a clear instruction sheet but the video does help! All the screws are good quality not cheap rubbish. I don't think they've cut any covers in the construction including the packaging which includes corner protectors for transit in the box. If you went to a store to buy a ready assemble, your probably looking at £80+ for something similar. It's not too heavy the average person can easily move it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can the shelves put on either side?**
A: Yes ours are fitted on the left hand side

**Q: Can it hold two montiors? I'm connecting them to my laptop, which I can put in one of the shelves on the side.**
A: It would depend size of monitors for the shelves.
It is fairly sturdy.

**Q: Please can you tell me the full length of the shelfing part and desk on the smaller version as its contradictive in the description**
A: The brown table top part is 110cm wide. The black table top part is 30cms. Whole top is 140cms. 60 cms deep.
The shelving part (for using it eg if your planning to buy something to put on it and need measurements ... the shelf is 58cms deep. The gap /width is tight at 25cms, so go under to get anything in and out. The height is 28cms tight (top shelf) and 27cms tight (bottom shelf). Again go slightly under when buying anything to fit on shelf. I brought a matching side table which I use for the printer to sit on the top. the shelf underneath hold the A4 paper and then the shelf under that holds a set of filing shelves. Hope this helps

**Q: Ordered this yesterday. It says delivery date pending. Anybody have an idea when this will arrive or when I'll get an estimated delivery date?**
A: We had a delivery date on purchase, this is with Amazon Prime, or possibly they are awaiting more stock

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent desk for good price
*by P***D on 9 March 2026*

Overall, this is a decent desk for the price. It’s not a premium product, but it reflects the amount of money spent and does the job well enough if you’re looking for a simple, budget-friendly desk. Assembly was fairly straightforward, although the instructions could definitely be improved. They come on a single A4 sheet and feel a little chaotic at times, so you need to pay close attention while putting everything together. It’s manageable, but I can imagine it might be slightly challenging for someone who doesn’t have much experience assembling flat-pack furniture. One thing to note is that the desktop is attached to the metal frame in only four places. Because of that, the top can bow slightly in the middle if nothing is on it. In my case this sorted itself out once I placed my monitor and a few items on the desk, which effectively pinned the top down and stabilized it. The materials are fair for the price point and the colour finish actually looks quite nice. When the package arrived it was rattling quite a bit, which initially made me worry something might be damaged. Fortunately, everything inside was intact and there were no scratches or defects. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. My previous desk was of a similar build, and the colour of the desktop matches nicely with my existing furniture, so it worked out well for my setup. If you’re looking for an affordable desk and don’t expect premium build quality, this is a reasonable option.
