When checking the solenoid be careful the plunger will shoot out when it is de-energised. Design is very good with 4 screw fitting to fasten the solenoid down. I used a Thick Plastic base to screw the solenoid down to. A metal base will be harder to get the hole measurement right. ### ⭐ Current rating misrepresented *by A***R on 2 October 2021* This product purports to draw 360mA. In fact it will draw well over 3A. This has been confirmed by the manufacturer. This makes the product potentially dangerous - undersized wiring could overheat and cause a fire. This has been reported to Amazon but as yet no action has been taken to remove the item from sale.
