It has different speeds and I use the lowest speed. **Q: Does this hair dryer have a swivel cord or is it fixed and so gets tangled over time?** A: Yes, this hairdryer does have a swivel cord. I have not had problems with the flax tangling. **Q: Does it dry hair fast?** A: I have really curly hair and I can’t say it dries my hair particularly fast. I don’t want it too though. I can say though that it is excellent as I never get any frizz. It is light and the controls are easy to use. Dries hair really quickly compared to other hair dryers I have used previously. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic lightweight hairdryer *by T***N on 4 June 2023* Brought this recently when my old one finally gave up on me. Thoroughly researched it and the reviews were mainly good. I have to say it’s a fabulous hairdryer. Lightweight, easy to use and despite one review I read, it does have a decent flex to it. I haven’t used the diffuser yet as my hair is in between stages and not quite long enough but so far very pleased with the directional nozzle. The only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is that it gets extremely hot (and I never use it on the fastest, hottest mode). Not too much of a problem for me as my dresser has a glass top to it but needs to be handled with care after use.
