It looks great against sun tanned skin, but would also look nice for fall. I would describe the color as watermelon meets papaya. It's bright but not gaudy. I was surprised that for a medium-dark color it's not completely opaque, although it's not sheer. So far it's worn well. I've had it on for a week with no chips. Review: A Good Trade Off - The ZOYA polish applies smoothly without streaks vs. a similar polish, Honeybee Gardens that remained streaked after several coats. ZOYA Elodie is a very bright red-pink-coral; it nears the intensity of a red polish, especially after a second coat. It’s what I would call a vivid coral! My nails are visible from Mt. Everest. Seriously, this shade is pretty but wear sunshades when applied. :-) I purchased 4 other lighter ZOYA shades better suited for me. Lastly, water-based nail polishes as ZOYA seem like a good trade off from toxic polishes. I would get hold of the company directly and ask them. **Q: How easy is this to remove?** A: No problem at all. **Q: does anyone have tiny dark spots on their nails after the base & polish has been removed ?** A: I think Zoya is absolutely the best. I’ve never had dark spots after removal. I have had two bottles of Zoya for over 10 YEARS. NO LIE.
