Q: How thick is the table including legs when it collapsed?

maybe 3 1/2 inches, the table is 1 1/2 inch thick. I think you can take the legs completely off.

Q: I just got this table and i can only get one set of legs out of the table notches, so i can only adjust it 1/2-way. how do i get the other legs out?

This is what I had to do: Lay table flat down on floor(top side down) Pull legs up and out of black center clips - pull hard. Insert legs into channels (slot openings) at height you want push down hard to get into slots IF LEGS ARE NOT IN THE SLOTS THE TABLE WILL COLLAPSE- it took me awhile to figure out good luck - nice table manufacturer needs to include “how to open instructions”
