*** Pure garbage, do NOT buy. ***
Flexzilla Swivel Whip Air Hose, 1/2 in. x 2 ft. Male 3/8 NPT swivel end clearly not seated deeply enough in the Flexzilla hose before crimping, leaked so badly before the compressor could even reach 20 PSI that it could not build pressure any higher. I'm tempted to believe somebody is whipping these up in their garage because mass production would have A) never allowed this defect to occur and B) QC would have caught it in QC.Not worth my trouble to return.12 7 2020 REPLY TO MANUFACTURERS REPLY BELOW:Why would I bother to call and talk to you? I made my point clearly- you sold me junk and lost a customer for life, that's all. No apology or explanation will change that, you stalled a project I had underway and the cost of the hose is irrelevant compared to that.

Rusted Connector
I bought two Flexzilla whips. One was just fine but this one was not. When I took it out of it's SEALED plastic bag I found that it was rusted/corroded. What I assumed were brass fittings were clearly not since brass doesn't rust/corrode. Since this is for hooking up an air compressor I'm obviously not going to trust a rusted/corroded fitting and will be returning it. I can't imagine how something like this could get past quality control. Very disappointed since the reviews were good.

Excellent Lead In Hose!
Excellent quality hose, I'm sold on Legacy Flexzilla hoses from here on out. For years I've used PVC hoses and dealt with the aggravation of tangling, kinks and stiff hoses. I recently upgraded my compressor and needed a new setup so Legacy was my answer. For my lead in hoses I used: 2' (HFZ1202YW3S) and 4' (HFZ1204YW3S) and my Main hose (HFZ1250YW3). I went with 1/2" hose with 3/8" ends on everything, the larger hose helps keep up the supply demand for impact wrenches and higher flowing air tools. I also purchased a ReelWorks (L201303A) and Rapidair regulator (K93215) from Amazon to complete the system. And multiple trips back and forth to local hardware stores for the fittings and valves etc. I already had a retractable reel with 3/8" hose on the other side of the shop. The lead in hoses are great because they have a swivel end which is a must when trying to tie in all these pieces without binding or having to use restrictive couplers.Overall I'm very happy with how the system turned out. After everything was assembled there were no major leaks that I noticed. After about 2 hours I lost roughly 10 PSI in the tank. Eventually I may upgrade the shop plumbing to the Rapidair kit or copper pipping. I can't recommend the Legacy Flexzilla hose enough. Thumbs way up!

Good value and convenient swivel heads
So far, Holding up well. I have used this to connect from compressor hard line on one end to moisture filter/regulator on other end. Key for this is the swivel heads this whip has. Vendor shipped quick and they are good quality. You need at least one swivel end (this one has that) to make it a convenient connection to two hard lines. It works well for my application. The only other one I found out there in 3/4 inch had poor reviews from failing due to heat generated by air compressor. I decided to reduce 3/4 line out of compressor to 1/2 inch whip and bought a 1/2 regulator/air filter. My shop hard lines are 3/4 so from the 1/2 regulator I hard lined back from 1/2 to 3/4 inch. Still get plenty of air to my multiple port locations. Have had in place for couple months and no leaks yet.

Won't last...
Garbage.... Kept in a tool box mounted to impact gun. 6 months or so old and it burst... Very dissatisfied,my last flexilla hose lasted 5 years of daily usage in a truck shop. Quality seems to have tanked.

Nice and flexible, clean looking threads. The ID of the swivel end is narrower than the straight.
Nice hoses, but the swivel end narrows the air path more than I was hoping. They came in bags that had some kind of black fluid on them, and it had gotten into one of the bags. Luckily, it only got on the threads of one connector, and was able to wipe it off. Industrial oil, perhaps?

Great decription of what you are buying.
Many sellers have lousy descriptions but this item was exactly as described.Used as a whip between my air compressor and the garage air distribution piping on the wall. One end of hose has a swivel connection just as I needed.
