Review: Beautiful Sleek Magnetic Knife Block That Fits Rada Knives - It's a beautiful magnetic knife block that holds all of my Rada knives minus the potato peeler. It's fantastic having them in a block instead of the drawer making them much more accessible for me to use. Visibility makes for easy placement and removing the exact knife needed. It has a nice weight to it making it stable to use without fear of it falling over. I love the fact that the knives are covered so that you can't get cut by them accidentally when grabbing one. The first one received was cracked in the corner and I received a replacement lickety split and I returned the first one within a few days of receiving the replacement so that I'm not charged for the second one. It still doesn't show as being returned to UPS but I'll give it a few more days. It does have a slot in the back as I've shown in the photos but it won't hold any kind of large cookbook but will hold something back there if you can think of something. Because of the acrylic siding, it is easy to see the size of the knife you are grabbing, unlike a traditional knife block where you have to either memorize what knife you have in which slot or pull knives out one at a time until you find the knife you are looking for - so annoying. I went a little different on the placement and have the shelf facing my workspace so I can store and easily access my kitchen scissors.
