**Q: What is the purpose of the carabineer?**
A: Travel on says that the purpose of the carabiner strap is so that you can loop the strap around a chair, etc, if you were out to eat in a crowded and/or an unfamiliar place--and you didn't want to have to hold your bag the entire time.

**Q: Will this meet the size requirements for the Rijksmuseum which says max size A4?**

A: I have the iPhone 6 (not plus) and it fit into all the pockets ... I'm absolutely sure that the iPhone 6 plus will fit in several of the main compartments.  I carried my iPad mini in the main compartment.
