The artist does beautiful work, I will buy every deck he has done... I saw comments about initials in the cards... Not sure what that was about because I see absolute class and any intials that are seen are seen in the r&w set as well. These are colorful, meaningful and easy to connect to. The card stock is good quality, I found them easy to shuffle with beautiful art work, easy to interpret even for beginners. They do not come with a book, I did not expect a mini deck to come with one. There are tons of great guides out there if you need one. Review: Nice pocket deck - People don't really seem to get that the mini really is a small deck. It's roughly 3.5 to 5 in height and like 2.25 in in width. The whole deck fits in the palm of my small hands. I definitely think the mini deck isn't as bright as the full sized deck. It's still a very well detailed and very beautiful deck. The mini cards are on the thinner side, but they don't seem to be flimsy. I'm a casual user, however this deck has been used more than any other I own and I have had no issues. The artist did a great job with all the symbolism and details.
