Review: Great to start with - This was the first kit I’ve ever tried and it got the job done. The tips do get a little flimsy when heated up but as long as you’re aware of the pressure you’re using they should be fine. Main issue is how hot the handle gets. I’m used to holding pens closer to the tip but tried to hold this higher up on the handle which took some getting used to. Taking breaks here and there helps as well. Overall a decent starter kit with some extra goodies.

**Q: Can the soldering iron solder the circuit?**
A: Yes, but there is no soldering iron tip in the pyrography pen, so you need to buy it separately

**Q: Will this work on red cedar?**
A: It should work on Red Cedar. Just do it in a well ventilated area

**Q: Does this pen sell additional tips separately? I find some of the tips are not meeting the needs I want to use it for and causing inconsistent burns.**
A: I do not know keep checking the internet or maybe a wood carving supply site.

**Q: Is this all i need to start carving into a wooden walnut canvis?**
A: This is NOT any of the necessary items to start carving wood.This is sufficient to get started with pyrography / wood burning into wood. Do keep in mind that it lacks any sort of temperature adjustment for pyrography. As a first timer kit or for simple projects (bold dark lettering outlines etc) it is acceptable.
