It has a well in the bottom to catch any water dripping from the brushes when wet, this needs to be emptied and cleaned to maintain hygienic conditions for the brushes.

**Q: Do these brushes fit in breast pump parts very well?**
A: The big one doesn’t fit the bottles for the breast pump. I can use the little tools to clean the other parts but not for the bottle

Super cute design if you don’t want boring bottle brushed everywhere. Has a brush for every function. I have a wide selection of bottles and I can get in to all the little parts with this set.
