I inquired about this starter from all my local parts stores. I specifically wanted an AC Delco starter. It was for my 2004 GMC truck with the 6 liter. Everyone said they could order it for $250. to $275. but no one stocked it. When I found this one for $110. new I was very skeptical. Arrived in 2 days by the postal service. It was perfect. I am 77 years old so it took me a while to change it out but all went well. I would liked to have gotten the 2 new nuts for the wiring because the small one broke off but was able to clean it up and make it work. Well worth the 2 day wait. Do not hesitate to buy this for your truck. P S. No core charge.
