I ordered them because I was looking for a well-built, durable cable - one that in particular would stand up to being abused being the cable left connected in a car.As it happens, they didn't get that far. I've been using them throughout the house, left in one place and used to charge devices while we sit, or to charge overnight. All of them have now failed - plug them in and either nothing happens, or else the device briefly starts to charge and then stops. Swap out the cable for another - keeping the same device and same power source - and everything works as expected. Sometimes if you wiggle the wire the device will start to charge and then stop again. This is as benign an application as you could ask for, but now the last of the ones I'd purchased has failed, this one after 10 months.Short version: They look like they're well built and durable. They're not.
