**Q: Iwont this set**
A: iT IS 8 CM WITHOUT THE LID. iT IS A WONDERFUL pan .among the very best i have had. please give me a helpful vote if this helps. thanks

**Q: Are they oven proof?**
A: Not sure but with the handle and lid top I would think no.

**Q: Are they heavy??**
A: No but strong.

**Q: Does the lid with silicone rim sit evenly on the aluminum rim of the pot or I do I have to use force/pressure to press it in?**
A: I have two of these saucepans ( as well as two frying pans).
The silicone lids fit perfectly and no pressure is needed.
I sometimes use the lids when draining other saucepans.

These saucepans are really good. Not heavy at all and I love the drainage on the lid. I don’t use a colander any more to drain my veg. They wash lovely and even when my husband forgot he hadn’t turned gas off and beans were burnt badly a sponge and hot soapy water soon got them clean. I bought extra of the large ones as they are smaller than my old ones

These pans are awful. The bases come away from the pan, they are not suitable for induction hobs - and will scratch your hob. DO NOT BUY. Customer service do not want to know even with proof thats the pans are not fit for purpose.
