A: I think it would depend on the type and thickness of the cage material but it would probably work on small cages

A: It depends on how thick the metal is, if it’s really thin then yes but it needs to be really clean, Emery cloth and a wire brush will help massively. If it’s thick metal then it would require welding as soldering in general is for electrical components and copper wire.

**Q: can I use this for Wood burning Pyrography work?**
A: Yes but limited

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great starter kit, but check the case for sharp points

I bought this as a gift, so I haven’t used the soldering iron or the multimeter myself yet, but I did fully unbox it to make sure everything was present. For the price, it’s a surprisingly complete kit. The case is packed with tools, spare tips, wires, tweezers, and the multimeter, ideal for anyone starting out with electronics or doing small repairs. One thing to watch out for, when mine arrived, one of the multimeter probe tips was poking through the inside lining of the case. It’s very sharp, so if you unzip it quickly you could easily catch your hand on it. Not a deal-breaker, but definitely worth checking and tucking the probe back in properly before gifting or using it. Overall it looks like great value and has everything needed to get started, just be mindful of the packaging and sharp bits in the case.
