As for DEFENSE Soap - my husband and I are very impressed with how long the bar of soap lasts - we each have our own bar and after a month of use, I'd say mine has reduced in size by less than 30%- still have most of the bar left. I don't leave it sitting in water or in the shower and once used, I let it air dry & return to it's box (hubby has a plastic soap box for his) - this helps to ensure it's not wastefully melting away AND that I'm the only one using MY bar of soap. And WOW! it sure does lather up so luxuriously - thick, rich foaming lather. The very first thing we noticed was just how incredibly squeaky clean our skin felt - none of that "slippery, slick" feeling like other soaps leave.
