It has to fit snug for the mechanism to pop the bearings in on the front of the lock **Q: Will this work in orange county for sce? i see some say yes and some say no.** A: Not sure what SCE is but I originally bought the red handled plunger ped key and it did not work for the inter tite barrel locks we use. The key is not recessed enough. I had to buy the blue version instead. My advice, look at the lock. Does it have a high recessed area on the face of it?
