Review: Worth buying, don't hesitate. - I have always try to buy "same kind" of product just to save money than I spend on with name brands, because WHY NOT? Im sure everyone done the same thing as I did. But now, I realized that sometimes name brand like this kwikset is much better and more sturdier than the other. You could tell it by the weight and quality of items used on this vs. the cheap brand, very light and rusted and didn't last long. I am convinced that few more extra dollars won't hurt you, it will last longer than the other ones. Smooth locking mechanism and ease of use after installing. Review: Very high quality product - When my old handle wore out I wanted to replace it with an inside lever and not a knob. The Schlage looks good, but it had a knob and they didn’t seem to over a lever handle. I almost took a chance on the cheaper version of this at around $50 but the reviews said it was kind’ve light weight, so I sprung for the $101 Kwikset, as I’ve always found the product line to be well made. This set did not disappoint. It is very heavy and the finish is beautiful. It was very easy to install and the feature of the variable range of the bottom fastener of about 1.25” is pretty cool for replacing an existing set of similar design. Unfortunately, mine was about an inch out of range. Nice feature, though. It operates very smoothly and feels kind of elegant to the touch. Spend the extra dough on this. You won’t be disappointed! ## Features - HANDLE AND INTERIOR LEVER: Use on exterior front doors for added security and style, combine with a Kwikset electronic or mechanical deadbolt (sold separately) - EASY INSTALL: Do it yourself, installs in minutes with just a screwdriver, all the hardware you need is included for a hassle-free installation, detailed directions provided - BOX INCLUDES: Exterior handle grip, adjustable latch, round and square face plates, interior passage lever, - DIMENSIONS: 2.78" L x 12.63" H x 2.81" W [Exterior Handle], Passage lever length 4.22" - FITS STANDARD DOORS: Fits standard size doors 1-3/4" thick, latch backset adjusts to either 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" by sliding the adjustment pin during installation - WARRANTY PROTECTION: Our products are backed by a lifetime mechanical and finish warranty with great customer service, limits apply, see Kwikset warranty for more details - IDEAL FOR HOMEOWNERS, RENTERS, LANDLORDS, PROPERTY MANAGERS, CONTRACTORS, DIYERS AND PROS: Fits single-family homes, apartments, condos, student housing, short-term rentals and vacation homes - PERFECT FOR REMODELS, UPGRADES, NEW CONSTRUCTION, RENTAL TURNOVERS AND MOVE-INS: Installs easily for quick updates, enhances door style, delivers reliable performance and everyday convenience ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B084SD7WG1 | | Additional Features | Easy to Install | | Best Sellers Rank | #18,885 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #32 in Door Handle Sets | | Brand | Kwikset | | Brand Name | Kwikset | | Color | Venetian Bronze | | Customer Package Type | Standard Packaging | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,134 Reviews | | Exterior Finish | Bronze | | Finish Types | Oil Rubbed | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Handle Attachment Mechanism | Screws | | Handle Compatibility | Brand Specific, Size Specific | | Handle Material | Zinc | | Handle Type | Lever | | Included Components | Grip; interior lever | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Outdoor | | Item Depth | 4.2 | | Item Dimensions L x W | 16.4"L x 7.4"W | | Item Type Name | Featuring Microban Antimicrobial Protection, Does Not Include Deadbolt | | Item Weight | 4.4 pounds | | Lock Type | Lever | | Manufacturer | Kwikset | | Manufacturer Part Number | 815PTHXTNL 11P RBP | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Warranty | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Metal Type | Brass, Bronze | | Model Number | 815PTHXTNL 11P | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 16.4"L x 7.4"W | | Shape | Round | | Specific Uses For Product | Door | | Style | Traditional | | Style Name | Traditional | | UPC | 883351749817 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Kwikset - **Color:** Venetian Bronze - **Material:** Plastic - **Product Dimensions:** 16.4"L x 7.4"W - **Style:** Traditional ## Images ![Prescott Front Door Handle No Lock, Entry Handleset Exterior with Interior Reversible Handed Lever, Non-Locking, Venetian Bronze, Deadbolt Not Included, with Microban Protection - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/6178t3eB7PL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is the outside handle 12 inches or 15inches?** A: 12.5 inches **Q: Is this model Prescott exterior with Tustin interior available in-polished brass** A: Question for the manufacturer **Q: does anyone anywhere make this style of handle, that locks?** A: The thumb lever operates the latch cylinder and a key would also operate a cylinder so they are exclusive of each other. In other words, you can have a knob with a key cylinder, but not a lever. With a lever you use a deadbolt for locking. **Q: Is there a dummy handle available for double front doors?** A: This is what I purchased to put on the "dummy" side of our double front doors. It doesn't have the blank "deadbolt" trim, but I didn't care about that. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth buying, don't hesitate. *by M***N on July 31, 2026* I have always try to buy "same kind" of product just to save money than I spend on with name brands, because WHY NOT? I used this handle on the passive side simply for aesthetics, i.e., I have the same handle but with a cylinder lock on the active door so the doors look balanced. This is nice and heavy and there's a faint bronze look at the edges. From the street it looks like it's all one color. ## Frequently Bought Together - Kwikset Prescott Front Door Handle No Lock, Entry Handleset Exterior with Interior Reversible Handed Lever, Non-Locking, Venetian Bronze, Deadbolt Not Included, with Microban Protection - Kwikset Powerbolt 250 10-Button Keypad Venetian Bronze Transitional Electronic Deadbolt Door Lock, Featuring Convenient Keyless Entry, Customizable User Codes and Auto Locking - Kwikset 660 Deadbolt Deadbolt Lock, Venetian Bronze Round Exterior Keyed Front Entry Door, Pick Resistant SmartKey Rekey Security, Single Cylinder Dead Bolt --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/234819617-prescott-front-door-handle-no-lock-entry-handleset-exterior-interior](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/234819617-prescott-front-door-handle-no-lock-entry-handleset-exterior-interior) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
