I also did not want to add more plastic to earth landfills. These are perfect as they are compostable. I haven’t tested that claim, but the info given by manufacturer appears trustworthy. The gloves themselves are large in finger length, but a little narrow at base of individual fingers. I have a relatively small hand and the Medium fit me well. My travel friend has a more rounded hand and the Large will fit her better even though the finger length is too long. These gloves are perfect for my intended use. Would not work well for fine dexterity projects as the overall finger length and width would be awkwardly loose. I’m pleased with these. A few less germs passed along. Review: Good for the earth, sometimes rip. - Great gloves, but mine rip occasionally. Perhaps I’m scrubbing too hard but something to be aware of. EDIT: The seller has let me know that they accidentally gave me an older box. They have refunded me and will be sending me a brand new box of more durable gloves. Kudos to their great customer service! ## Features - ✔ COMPOSTABLE & EARTH-FRIENDLY: Made from renewable and sustainable plant-based materials. I also did not want to add more plastic to earth landfills. These are perfect as they are compostable. I haven’t tested that claim, but the info given by manufacturer appears trustworthy. A few less germs passed along. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for the earth, sometimes rip. *by M***A on July 3, 2022* Great gloves, but mine rip occasionally. Perhaps I’m scrubbing too hard but something to be aware of. EDIT: The seller has let me know that they accidentally gave me an older box. They have refunded me and will be sending me a brand new box of more durable gloves. Kudos to their great customer service! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ compostable gloves *by F***G on April 24, 2023* These are 'ok' for gloves - but they are very weak. So not for use in heavy cleaning. Best for light food handling - food prep - but not cleaning as they try to say in ad. The best part is that they are compostable. I bought 2 boxes - and I will use if I need to serve some light food. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever. I also refuse to 'change' my review for a refund of a product I have given a poor review - and that is offered from time to time. For some reason our shopper ranks are no longer visible - so, to give you a little more info about me, I am a top 50 reviewer (#30 the highest rank achieved). It's a shame they phased this rating system out because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer. I've been doing reviews for over 25 years with Amazon - over 6,200 reviews posted, those reviews have been viewed well over 50,000 times, including well over 26,000 likes. BOTTOM LINE: I pay for all my stuff, just like you do. ## Frequently Bought Together - Eco Gloves Plant-Based Compostable Eco-friendly Gloves for Food Prep & Cleaning - If You Care Latex Gloves, Large – 1 Pair (Pack of 1) – For Gardening, Dishw - Eco Gloves Biodegradable BLUE VIOLET Nitrile Disposable Gloves, 4 Mil, Powder Free, Latex Free, Food Safe,Tattoo, Cleaning --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/234666755-eco-gloves-plant-based-compostable-eco-friendly-gloves-for-food](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/234666755-eco-gloves-plant-based-compostable-eco-friendly-gloves-for-food) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
