Smooth ride
Rancho gas shocks made a huge difference on my Jeep Wrangler! The ride is noticeably smoother both on and off-road. They handle bumps and rough terrain like a champ, and the Jeep feels much more stable. Solid build quality and easy to install—great upgrade for any Wrangler owner!

Great shocks
These were a huge and obvious upgrade over the original shocks on my 98 tj. Highly recommend.

Amazing shocks - made all the difference.
The media could not be loaded. Shocks are great. You can install without taking the wheels off or lifting the truck. Keep an eye out for the rear bolts, you don’t want to break them. I used a bolt buster which I highly recommend made the job SO much easier. The ride is wayyy smoother and you can’t argue with the quality for the price.

These shock are amazing on my 2000 Jeep TJ wrangler
I used these shocks to replace the oem shocks on my stock height Jeep Wrangler. I was nervous to replace the shocks with the vehicle being 24 years old. I replaced shocks from other manufacturers on other Jeep wranglers and they rode terrible… not the case with these! These Rancho shocks make my Jeep ride better than it ever has ! I highly recommend these shocks. Not too stiff and not too soft. Be aware though on older jeeps the rear upper shock mount bolts are notorious for rusting solid and breaking when trying to remove. It happened to me. A few hours later on my friend’s car lift with a small dremel tool with cutting disc , had the bolts out and drilled new bolts in to secure.

Nice set of shocks for my TJ
My title says it all, great improvement over my worn out Skyjacker Hydro 7000's! Not the easiest installing because previous owner sucked! But these shocks are a great improvement!

For the price they are tough to beat.
I put these shocks on a 2001 jeep wrangler. The ride is better and I would recommend them. Two things that could be better: The paint is thin and easily scratched. Second would be the stickers, they look cheap and won't hold up. If you are installing these on a wrangler be sure to spray the top bolts of the rear shocks with pb blaster a couple days before you install. If you break those bolts you will not be happy.

Quick install, great ride
Installed front and rear Rancho RS5000X shocks on a 2004 Jeep TJ Wrangler replacing all 4 OEM shocks. Stock ride height. As others mention, removing the rear upper bolts is the only tricky part to the install. Be sure to spray with penetrating oil several days before and go slow. Otherwise the install was quick, and it rides a lot better.
